Rhea's POV My heart hammers in my chest as we speed down the highway. The bike isn't fast enough, nothing is, even though the street around us blurs as we drive. We're passing a lot of cars. I'm vaguely aware of the speed limit. Cassie is beside me. She doesn't say anything; she doesn't have to. Certainly not with the noise of the surrounding street, but her presence is everything—a silent reassurance, something that keeps me grounded in place.
