DARIUS I set down the phone just as the door creaks open. "Alpha..." I recognize my beta's voice. He stands at the entrance of the doorway, giving a light bow. I push off the wall, standing up straight. "What's the matter?" I ask, getting straight to the point. There's no other reason why my beta would be rushing into my room just minutes after I woke up unless half of our cargos were intercepted and the world was about to end. He eyes my phone suspiciously, causing me to wonder how long he waited outside the door before walking in. "We have an emergency," he says, drawing nearer and shuffling through my clothes cabinet. A scrunch works its way up my brows. "What kind of emergency?" He pulls out a wooden suit and cotton pants, setting them on my work desk at the corner of the room
