Taking a deep breath, I leaned against the door as I looked back to my grandson, who seemed to be overworn by the same tension that I felt, as If the strange awareness between us wasn't enough proved that there were two Alphas in the room.
"... First, allow me to say that I didn't tell you that before because even I didn't know that it was what was happening to me." I decided to be the one to start the talk, making it less strange for my grandson, since the rumors were already going around the Pack despite everything that was going on.
Besides the hunters, the conversation that ran through the Pack's House was that I had hidden it from Jack so I could challenge him when he least expected it, allowing me to take back my old position.
