Chapter Two We headed down the familiar long bumpy road. On some occasions it was all dirt, the truck squealing in protest from the rough terrain while the scent of pine whiplashed across my face. The windows were open now and the cool night air seemed to help settle my stomach. That was when I decided to approach any form of conversation.
