Chapter Seven
Blake had begrudgingly accepted a ride in Greg’s taxi to retrieve a few items from his apartment. As a general rule the werebear avoided automobiles. Today he made the exception, because time was running short. In less than twelve hours they would be raiding the Empire State Building.
Bree had remained behind with Vixa and Anne. Together they were pouring over maps and looking into any online conspiracy theories that might relate to CASO. There wasn’t much to go on. They were going to have to rely on their own strengths and Harvey. The latter didn’t set well with Blake or Greg.
“Leave it to the rabbit to fall for someone who wants to kill her,” Greg laughed as they began to drive back to Manhattan.
