Four Years Later:

Ripley is behind the TV hooking up the cables when she hears Yadiel and his husband Roberto come in from the bedroom.

"Okay, Chiquita, that should be the last of the boxes".

"García (Thank you), I think that should be all," Ripley said straightening up as she surveys the room.

"You sure? We can still do more," said Roberto.

"No, don't worry about it. I just needed some help to bring the really big boxes up".

"Okay mijita, then if that's it we should go, "Yadiel says before him and Roberto come over and place a kiss on her cheek. 

"You're not staying for pizza? He should be here any minute?" Ripley asked.

"No, it's okay we have a party to go to at seven and Yadiel esta en dieta" (he's on a diet). Then Yadiel rubbed his stomach and smiled as he says proudly: "I'm down five pounds".

"What about you? Are you and your roommate going to be okay?" Roberto.

Ripley sighs as she sits down to pet an old Alice on her head.

"Yeah, we'll be fine, but!" she says excitedly "when the apartment is all set up I'm cooking you guys a proper thank you meal".

"With Mofongo?" ask Yadiel.

"Duh!" she said as she tied her hair up.

"Okay then" Yadiel goes up to hug her "Take care and I'll see you guys later" he whispers in her ear before placing a kiss on her cheek before leaving.

"Adios! (Goodbye!)" she said, waving at them.

When the door closes, she kisses the top of Alice's head before getting up and going back to the T.V.

Twenty minutes later Ripley managed to set up the game consoles and the DVD player. She was flipping through the settings to make sure if everything worked when she heard the door open.

"Pizza!" she cries.

Ripley grabs the box and places it on the counter.

"Wow, you got the system hooked up and mounted it on the wall? How long was I gone?"

"Too long," she says pouting "How many slices do you want?"

"I was thinking we could just share the box. I don't want to clean plates today" they say smiling.

Ripley shrugs her shoulders and says "Okay, then let's go to the couch and eat".

Ripley takes a seat on the couch while placing the pizza on the coffee table. 

"Where’s Yadiel and Roberto?"

"They have a party to get ready for,".

"Oh,"

They tear into the deep dish like there's no tomorrow, and they remained that way for a while. When Ripley was going to grab another slice, her lips are meet with the tip of another pizza. She's startled but then realizes what's happening. She smiles and takes a bite out of it which makes Elias laughs. Then she grabs a slice of pizza and plants it into his mouth. The next thing they know they're both attempting to push each other's pizza into the other's face while getting alfredo sauce on their chins and clothes.

Elias laughs while attempting to dodge her attempts and then ends up pushing her down on the couch.

She giggles beneath him for a moment before spreading her knees apart so that he could lay for comfortably while on top of her. Elias nears his face to her and she stops and just stares back up at him and just when she thinks he's going to close the distance he licks her cheek. She laughs and says "What's that for?"

"What?” He says innocently "you had a little something on your face," he says matter of factly.

"Oh, is that so? Well, I must have looked a little silly then?"

"Very," He says in a low growl.

She then reaches up and meets his lips with hers.

"I'm a little grimy Elia," she says.

"That's fine with me," He says the last part almost as if he's was in a trance and proceeds to press his lips onto hers. He starts to pull down her pants and she unbuckled his belt.

"Now it's starting to feel like home," she says cupping his face between her hands. He stops just long enough to place a soft kiss near her wrist before giving her a knowing smile.
