I got home and paid the Uber for the ride. Then I walked into the house and I was glad to see that Chloe wasn't home. I needed a long rest and the silence surrounding me was very vital so I planned to put it to good use.
I made my way to my room and I changed into a t- t-shirt and cotton trousers before I went straight into bed and fell asleep, not giving my mind the chance to ruin the little peace I had by making me overthink anything that had happened so far that day.
Soon, I felt a light tap on my shoulder and I groaned before I reluctantly opened my eyes to see Chloe staring at me. I stretched in silence before sitting up in bed then I checked my phone for the time and it read 7:00pm. I looked back at Chloe after returning my phone and she was looking at me questioningly.
