Morning came and I had a quick bath before I dressed up to leave for work. Chloe was making herself breakfast when I walked into the kitchen to have a cup of water and we exchanged a smile.
"Didn't see you last night when you came in" she said and I nodded as I closed the refrigerator.
"You were asleep when I returned" I confirmed and she nodded too.
"So how was work? Nice bosses or the opposite?" She asked me and I smiled as I returned the cup.
"I'll tell you everything when I come back from work okay? You'd better stay up and wait for me" I replied while I took my bag and hung it over my shoulder and she laughed.
"Okay, boss" she replied teasingly and I sent her a kiss through the air before I dashed toward the front door and exited the house.
