We finished having our dinner and everyone began to chat at the table but I didn't feel like I wanted to be there any longer. So I dropped my napkin on the table and stood up.
Immediately I did, they all looked at me and I paused while they gave me questioning looks.
“I need to use the bathroom. I'll be back” I announced and they all let out sounds of relief before urging me to go on.
I finished using the bathroom and while I washed my hands, Gwen walked in to meet me but didn't say a word.
All she did was stand by the door and watch me with a sly smile on her face which got my attention and I gave her a look.
