The drive back to the company was a very quiet one and I realized it was only a trap he'd set for me so I could get into his car. He never had anything to say to me. Or at least that was what I thought until we arrived at the company and he had his car parked in the private parking lot where no one could see us as we sat in his car.
My plan was to bolt once he had the car parked but immediately, I reached for the door, he placed his hand over mine so tenderly and every part of me froze in response.
