IVY There was total silence in the car while Nixon drove and when we arrived at my house, I didn’t wait for him to get the door for me. I got out on my own and walked to the door and he accompanied me. Then I turned to face him and I gave a small smile. “Are you feeling better now? Do you feel less angry?” he asked me and I nodded in response. “I’m glad then. I was hoping the silence would work while I drove” he said and I smiled when I realized why he didn’t say a word to me throughout the drive. “Thanks for the drive, Nixon. I planned on taking an Uber but you cut the cost for me” I thanked him and he shrugged like it was nothing. “Anything for you, Ivy.
