I didn't flinch or bat an eye as I watched him walk toward me and when he stood before me, I looked up at him with a blank face and he released a low growl.
“Repeat what you just said, Ivy,” he told me and I licked my lips.
“If you weren't a cheating piece of s**t and you just stayed faithful to your wife, we wouldn't be in this situation but now that we are, excluding me from the team just because you don't want to see me is cowardly, Mr Collins”
I repeated fearlessly and immediately I finished talking, he bent toward me and placed both hands on the arms of the chair I sat on. Then he looked directly into my eyes so intensely that I began to feel flushed.
