Arriving at the company, I rushed out of the car once Nixon had it parked in the parking lot. Then I turned to him and waved him goodbye before running off without saying a word because I had nothing to say to him.
Then I got into the elevator along with Sam who was just coming to work too and we exchanged a quick morning greeting. My phone vibrated at that moment so I took it out only to see it was a message from Nixon and I wondered how he got my number.
Nixon: You didn't say anything before leaving. Are you still mad at me?
Nixon: You know what? Don't answer that. I won't pester you okay? Have a great day.
I smiled to myself when I read his messages and since I was curious to know how he got my number, even though I had an idea, I decided to ask him.
