I woke up with a groan when the alarm rang. Then I sat up in bed and stretched before running my fingers through my hair as I got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom.
Once I was ready and fully dressed? I left for the kitchen and I saw Chloe was making herself a bowl of cereal.
“Hey, good morning” I chirped while I placed my bag on the chair and joined her to make cereal for myself too and she smiled at me.
“Good morning, Ivy. Sorry I didn’t stay up to wait for you last night, how was the dinner date?” she asked before taking a sip of her cereal while she made her way to the dining table and I shook my head with a smile.
“It's nothing alright? You just needed the rest” I told her and she nodded.
“I slept so well so I guess I did need the rest” she agreed.
