I stood there in silence as my heart began to race faster again. My eyes stayed fixed on Ryder who still wouldn't look at me and I dreaded whatever was about to happen between the brothers.
“Why the hell did you stop Ivy from coming for the morning briefing? What the f**k were you telling her?... Were you threatening her again?” Ryder asked Ethan who finally looked up from his phone to notice his presence.
“Wh… what are you doing here, Ryder?” Ethan asked him, surprise all over his face and I heard Ryder hiss as he stormed toward Ethan and held him up against the wall by his neck.
His grip was so tight that Ethan’s face turned crimson and I knew if I didn't do something to interfere, Ethan was going to pass out cold and Ryder would call for his employees' attention.
