As I stormed out of the restaurant, someone caught my hand from behind. I looked back to see that it was Nixon and Gwen was standing beside him.
They gave me puzzled looks and I could bet they were both thinking the same thing… Why on earth did my mood suddenly change? What triggered me so badly? But they had absolutely no idea.
“What's wrong, Ivy? Did mum say something that pissed you off?” Gwen asked me and forgetting that I was mad at her for setting me up to come to the family date, I shook my head in response and dragged in a long breath.
