I can't believe my best friend is finally getting himself a mate.

But It's a shock that it is our precious daughter.

I have to calm my wife down after sending them both away.

She just can't. 

Diana is her baby.

"My love, calm down. We knew him all our life. He'll take care of her."

She's crying now.

"But she's 18! She's my baby! I can't help it Wil."

I feel so too. Dia is our baby. She's the most precious thing there is. But, it's just how it is.

"I know. I feel that too. But baby she is meant to find her mate too."

My lovely wife and Luna loves her so much. I too. 

But, It's Marcus. 

Someone we can always trust.

"Why are you still following me? I need to rest High Alpha. Please leave."

She sighed like having me was too heavy for her.

'Doesn't mate want us?' Neo whined.

'It will take her a while. She is still in shock.'

'But, why is she so cold to us?' now my excited wolf is stressed and sad.

"It's too much to take in. I'm sorry. But, It's not because I don't want you." she said like she can read our thoughts.

"I can hear your thoughts. Both of you. I hate hearing you both sad."

She said as a reply to my thoughts.

"Oh. Princess, can we at least talk?"

I need to talk to her. I want her.

Goddess I want to take her right now.

I smelled her. She's lusting over me too.

"I-"

I stopped her words crushing my lips to hers. 

 It was to softest, sweetest thing. 

It was so sudden her eyes widened in shock but closed it and succumbed to my kisses. 

We entered her room. She responded to my kisses until we both let go for air.

"Goddess Princess I can't control myself." I uttered in between heavy breaths.

"H..high Alpha."

"Please call me Marcus or whatever you want to call me but cut the high alpha thing princess, I'm your mate."

"Okay Marcus. But, can you leave for now? We both know we can't control the urge to mate but, I still have something to discuss with my other self."

Disappointment is an understatement for what I feel right now. After the kiss we passionately shared, she'll shoo me away like this?

" Baby, please? I'm not ready to mate yet. And I want to know my other half and whatever she is first. Please?"

'She... just.. called.. me.. baby..'

'Dumb i***t'

Neo commented and went further back.

"Okay but, can I stay here in your pack for a while?"

"You are the high alpha. You have duties to do. I'll come to you when I'm ready and you have a phone we can call and chat right?"

She's right. I can't do any other thing but sigh.

"Baby, princess, I will be missing you and being far from you would be painful but, I will manage. I'll try okay."

She smiled at me and before I could kiss her again, she initiated the kiss first. It's high time I get the shock too.

This woman is perfect.

"Have a safe trip home okay?"

She said an then we parted.
