CHAPTER FORTY-EIGHT
As soon as the sun rises in the morning, Cassandra teleports back to Hawaii. She didn't take her belongings with her and immediately just went there, just as she promised.
As soon as Cassandra arrives, Lucas gives her a tight hug. Cynthia, who was sitting on the other side, only rolled her eyes.
“Come on Cynth, aren't you glad I came back today as promised?” Cassandra asked.
“Of course, I am glad that you're here but I just don't like the way Lucas hugged you… it completely broke my heart, he never did that to me,” Cynthia bluntly said.
Lucas can't help but get choked by Cynthia's words.
Lucas broke his hug and looked at Cynthia with knitted brows. It was sure that he was displeased by what he heard.
“See? Now, look! He only gave me his death glares! Tsk!”
