CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE
During the night, before Cassandra could even sleep, her whole body aches tremendously and it has been a while since she last felt that way.
‘Why am I in pain again? There's really something wrong going on inside me? Should I do a general check-up?’ Cassandra thought as she curled in pain.
‘Should I ask them for help?’ Cassandra thought again.
“No! What am I even thinking?! They're vampires and I have been betrayed once and been hurt so badly because of it. I should follow what Gabriella told me. I should trust no one in this life but myself,” Cassandra said to herself.
Cassandra has been awake for almost an entire night while crying non-stop due to the unbearable pain.
She actually tried to get a hold of her wolf, Gabriella, but she couldn't summon her.
