Actually, a few hours later, when Cassandra was still at her foster parents' place, she planned to invite Troy over, initially to talk about her foster parents— the Taylors. But because she is reluctant to trust Troy again, she decides to go back to County M and just have dinner with him and for them to talk about the company— and for Cassandra to find clues as well about her foster parents' whereabouts.
Cassandra knew that Amanda was the culprit behind her foster parents' disappearance, and since Amanda was head over heels for Troy, she might have told Troy about it.
