Without hesitation, Trevor summoned his panel screen which gave him satisfaction since the dungeon panel screen would come out whenever it wanted. However now, he had full control.
"I suggest you start with the hack tab....."
Listening to Ephraim, Trevor moved to the Hack tab and this time he was left dumbfounded.
The hack tab was the one part of this new panel that had content almost similar to the original white panel. It had Trevor's depressing evaluations in one window and the dungeon announcements in another. There were other various things in different windows which he did not recognize.
So he decided to start from the window that contained the announcements. When he opened it, he could see the familiar text from before informing him about the four pillars of the dungeon. However this time, there were dashed lines under the words four pillars.
If it was what he thought it was, Trevor would be grateful to clear his mind from constantly guessing who the remaining pillars were.
Surely, when he the words, it was like he thought.
Four small pop up windows appeared, each displaying who a pillar. R
He first pop up had a picture of Dira. And his ID name was Dira/Gira. Then there was some background information on him.
"Dira/Gira are twin brothers who share the same position and the time. They do not share the same body. They act as supervisors on behalf of the council at the Rochuos school of magic. Current rank, evolution. "
The same layout was the same for the other pillars and this time, Trevor was a bit surprised by who he found on the list.
" Daksh, he is a gladiator currently training at the Rochuos school of magic. He was originally from the northern continent, but later migrated with his family to the southern continent because of surpression of non magic holders. He is currently in the silver rank. He is the only magic holder in his lineage. Even so, his limit has been reached. That's why he focused on combat training and has discovered a secret that he uses to create deadly moves. He moved back to the northern continent to work as a gladiator and earn for his family. "
" Merza, Merza is the director of the Rochuos school of magic. He has a strong hate for the council because of an incident involving his family. Because the council had once put a bounty on him, he moved to the southern continent where he cultivated his magic till he was powerful enough to defend against them. He later returned and inherited part of his family's businesses including the school. The council let him be but still choose to make his life hard. Because of the council, Merza and his half sister Stella, who joined the council, have a strained relationship. "
" The great Wizard Babech,
The great wizard Babech is a 500 year old wizard with great power gifted to him by the god sogar to act as a guard for the crystal cavern in Mount Sogar. He has done a great job hiding the cavern from the public of the northern continent who threaten to mine the mama stones to extinction. They simply do not know that mining the mana stones would erase the existence of magic in their blood. "
Now that Trevor knew the four pillars, a huge burden had been removed from his shoulders. It was now easier for him to choose a quest path judging from the pillar's personalities.
After Trevor had finished reading the information about the pillars, he closed the windows and involuntarily, another window opened up like a notification.
"Advantages of different quest paths, " was the title.
"Daksh, will help you're combat skills tremendously. Condition is that you have to have a high potential to grow your skills. You must help him in his quest once you are ready.
Merza will help you become powerful in society. Condition is that you must choose a different quest path that can make you a valuable asset to him.
The wizard Babech will make you the strongest mage. Condition is that you must be willing to guard the crystal cavern and inherit his roles. You must be trust worthy. The wizard is still comfortable with being the protector of the cavern and isn't in desperate need for a replacement. If you wish to take this quest path, you must earn his trust.
The wizard Dira will help you break your seals and unleash your full magic potential. Condition, you must be able to become or show potential of being able to become a mage more powerful than him. "
After grasping the concept, Trevor closed the window: but then another opened up.
"You can choose more than one quest path. Current quest paths available belong to the wizard Dira, and Daksh. Note that sooner or later, you will have to choose one ultimate one."
"That makes sense." Trevor stated. Daksh and Dira's conditions were the easiest to fulfill. Since they were the only available ones, that meant he had already fulfilled the conditions. Still, he had to find out what Daksh needed help with, and what Dira's intentions were.
For now, he did not have to worry about the other two.
The main problem of who would cause that serious backlash was still unknown! The system did not show any signs of telling him that.
"Uh Ephraim, why won't the system tell me who would cause me to fail the dungeon."
"Honestly I don't know, my guess is that even the dungeon itself hasn't determined that yet. It might be setting this stuff at random..... By the way, you shouldn't focus on becoming magically stronger in the dungeon because the tasbar you currently possess is fake and you won't leave with any of the magic from here. You will be back to the normal non magic holder you are in the real world.
You can still go with both quest paths to make your chances of success higher. According to the wizard Babech, someone must have put a seal on you which might as well be the case in real life. But breaking the seals here in the dungeon won't help you out. You will need to solve that problem in the real world. Right now, let combat skills be your main goal here... Just a suggestion after analyzing the algorithm of this dungeon. You will gain more that way. "
Boom! Another one!
Right now, Trevor felt like screaming his lungs out. He had thought he had finally acquired a tasabar even though it was late. Now he finds, he actually did not get one. It was just the dungeons modification for him to fit in!
His expression had turned from a happy one, to a gloomy one in an instant.
"Don't be so sad champ, the system might have something to help you out. Even if it doesn't, there's always a solution, you just have to find it." Ephraim tried comforting which seemed to do the trick because Trevor was in a better mood but he was still angry at his situation.
Trevor let the matter rest for the time being. He closed the windows containing the dungeon announcements and soon, he was back to the hack main screen.
There was a catchy image of a map which he guessed was the map of the dungeon he was living in. One part of land on the map was shaded blue and the other red. Though these huge land masses where spared by the ocean, they shared a striking resemblance in shape.
Without hesitation, Trevor clicked on the map and soon information about it was displayed."
Dungeon planet C.
This planet has two main continents, the Northern and the Southern.
The Northern continent consists mainly of magic wielders. This is due to the fact that it is blessed with the crystal cavern which grants its people these powers.
The southern continent on the other hand, lacks a crystal cavern hence the majority of the people that live there are non magic holders. They, however make up for this shortcoming by innovating and diving into technology.
The Northern Continent's Council believe that they are meant to be the rulers hence plan to take over the southern continent. This has required the player Trevor to play the role of a freedom fighter. To fight for the rights of the Southern continent's people. "
" Okay, this is so helpful! " Trevor thought; pleased by the revelation. A slight smile rising on his lips.
" At least now I know where I have to head. The council in this case is the enemy. And currently, two pillars are from the Southern continent and one hates the council. Wizard Babech is a ruled out because I don't want to act as a guard stuck in one place. Daksh and Merza are bound to lead me to the Southern continent. I still need Dira and Daksh to make me strong so I can fight for this 'freedom' as well as fulfill Merza's condition so I can make the fight easy by being on top of society!" with just this revelation, Trevor had come up with the perfect game play to complete the dungeon.
He still had to watch out for the wrong pillar.
