Chapter Twenty-Three
"Thank you. It was very nice to meet you. I'll follow up with you next week."
Charlotte had said those words to a number of ranchers and trainers she'd met at the auction. Most were impressed with her credentials. Not enough to make her a head trainer, but enough to consider bringing her on as an assistant or a hand.
Funny how there was opportunity when she put herself out there and didn't just wait and hope for someone to pick her.
She had a handful of business cards and a list of owners to email for follow-ups. Still, none of the jobs made her excited. No one else was doing the work that Collin was doing in saving retired or injured racehorses. They were all more interested in the latest tactics and techniques to make their prized horses faster.
