Isabella was extremely worried about her sister. She had finally claimed that she was so upset over her mate finding her and rejecting her. Isabella didn't believe it, not for one second. But, all she could do was be there for her sister until she was ready, to tell the truth.
When Alyona decided to leave, taking a job with that Mr. Pretium, Isabella worried. But she didn't seem to need to. This Mr. Pretium, while having many of his own secrets, was someone their father trusted. So, she would too. But, she would be watching out very closely for her sister.
