The minute I stepped into the room, I felt that same old lump forge itself in my throat as I struggled to catch my breath. Everything was how I remembered it, his console tucked on the table next to the tv and the remotes discarded on the neatly made bed. Except this time, books were scattered all over the ground and any visible surface possible. Regan was sat on the bed, Shane on the bedside table and Ian on the other.  Ian didn’t bother to look up but made his sigh loud enough to speak volumes.
