The reason why Choi Myeon-ae spoke so was that she understood: Choi Hun-ae’s illness was a serious obstruction that prevented many boys from loving or even marrying her. As a result, if there was a boy who did not dislike this patient of Marfan syndrome, as a younger sister of hers, Choi Myeon-ae would be sincerely happy for Choi Hun-ae’s being loved.
Neither Choi Myeon-ae nor Choi Hang-gyeong, certainly, knew that a distant cousin and their eldest sister were loving each other. Different from them, Choi Hun-ae promised to her lover:
“So far it’s you that post your nude pictures to me, baby. Tonight I’ll shoot my own one and then post it to you.”
“OK, mommy,” replied Choi So-dong. “I’ll be very happy to receive it.”
After saying goodbye to her, Choi Hun-ae thought of what happened when they were having s*x last time.
Despite the global warming, the weather at the end of a year in Seoul remained cold. This was why both Choi Hun-ae herself and Choi So-dong were wearing thick clothes outside. Differently, because of the supply heating system in the apartment, standing in Choi Hun-ae’s bedroom face-to-face, they started to take off clothes each other without being afraid of catching cold. After both of them became completely nude, Choi So-dong lied down in front of Choi Hun-ae, who did not immediately start the s****l behavior but viewed her lover’s body and then praised: “Your body is the most beautiful scene all over the world, baby!”
“Never merely look at it, mommy,” Choi So-dong urged her. “Let’s enjoy ourselves just right now.”
As demanded, similar with what they did the first time, they repeated had s*x until both of them became exhausted. Remembering the experience then, Choi Hun-ae felt sexually excited again and therefore m*********d herself, lying on her bed.
“You’re really a devil, baby,” after this, she wanted to say to Choi So-dong. “I once read the Chinese version of an Italian classics; a story in it is suitable for you and me.”
The classics which Choi Hun-ae once read was “The Divine Comedy”, a representative work of Dante, an Italian poet during the Renaissance Era. Using his amazing imagination, in this work, Dante imagined that he successively visited Inferno (namely Hell), Purgatorio (a zone of transition between Hell and Heaven) and Paradiso (namely Heaven). According to Dante, in Inferno, he saw a six-legged lizard that was actually an evil person’s soul; more surprisingly, this lizard and another evil person’s soul mixed together, becoming a much more terrible monster. Originally, Choi Hun-ae regarded this story as indeed terrible; because of herself and Choi So-dong’s being in a difficult position, however, she changed her mind.
“I and baby are a pair of monsters in the eyes of many people, if they have known the most important relationship between us,” guessed she. “But if we can really become one monster that will never be divided, that’s the best in my opinion.”
Regretfully, although Choi Hun-ae was a Christian who believed that the science was unable to explain many problems in the world, she had to admit another problem: such fancy was only a fancy. Similarly, while some other countries legally recognized same-s*x marriages, South Korea was different from them; in other words, as long as the law in their motherland was not modified, this relationship between them was never protected by the law.
“Nothing serious,” Choi Hun-ae encouraged herself. “Although our law doesn’t protect us on this issue, we’ll protect each other forever.”
