Emilia POV
I open my eyes to see Luca’s back to me. His hand is in the air holding Finch in place. I can’t see his face, but I feel his strong aura around me. He is pissed. He exchanges words with Finch. Words that I don’t even register because I try to think of how he came to my rescue so quickly. I trail off until I hear him speak directly to me.
“Lia, what did he ask you to do?” He questions me.
I bite my lip, the sting on my face dying down. Is it the right move to tell him the truth? I mean the crowd probably saw all that Finch did to me, but wouldn’t it be disrespectful if a pet like me spoke out of turn? I glance at Finch, whose eyes hold nothing but disgust for me. I sneer at him and hiss. f**k him.
“He wanted me to sleep with him and when I refused, he called me a whore.”
