EMILIA’S POV
I sit in my room, the television showing a movie on its screen but I’m not paying any attention to it. My mind wanders somewhere else. Well, it wanders specifically to one person. Luca. It has been two days since I woke up and didn’t see Luca in bed with me. I thought that he had left for work but when he didn’t come back last night, I knew that something was up.
I rack my mind with questions that no one is around to answer. Where did he go? What was he doing? Why isn’t he back yet? All these questions plagued my mind, not allowing me to have some semblance of peace.
I stare at the television, my mind not focusing on what I’m doing when the door opens up and some barges into my room, closing it behind them. I turn to look at who it could be when my eyes land on Luca.
