Luca's POV I hear Lia slam the door, the sound echoing through the hallway like a gunshot. I want to hold her close and comfort her when she spins out of control but I know Lia needs a moment to process everything. The bombshell her parents dropped isn't something anyone could easily digest. Downstairs, chaos erupts. "I'm going up there," her mother announces, already heading for the stairs.
