Lia’s POV I groan, feeling my body being weighed down by a pressure that I cannot place. I struggle to move but there’s no use. Whatever is on me is hard and won’t budge and although it’s keeping me in place, it isn’t suffocating me. I breathe out, evening out my breathing before I open my eyes. Bright light floods into my irises making me wince in pain as a headache starts to form in my head. I frown but force myself to open my eyes. I need to know where I am. As soon as my eyes adjust to the brightness, I can clearly see where I am. A hospital room. The beeping sounds from the machines ring in my ear and that’s when I see the numerous tubes running in and out of my body. That’s not the only thing I see though. The weight I feel on my body is none other than Luca. He’s sleeping on me
