Luca’s POV
I leave Lia at the foot of the stairs after ordering her to go up to her room and hide. The sound of gunshots and shouts still echoes through the house making me wonder who has the gall to think that they could ambush and possibly kill me. I wipe the thought from my mind, deciding to deal with the intruders first and then ask questions later.
I slink through the lobby and hallways following the sound of the fight with my Smith and Wesson pistol tucked firmly in my hands. The noise leads me outside to the chaos that ensued. Bullets flying around coupled with the fact that one of my cars is on freaking fire. Okay, someone was going to pay for that.
