Kimberly got no idea when her eyes closed during that trip. She remembered her guilt and need to avoid Jace. She recalled not wanting the silent pain in him and desperately avoiding the emotions building in her throat. However, she couldn't remember being carried somewhere. Did she end up sleeping to evade him? Obviously.  It was the few drops of water that splashed her face that made her harshly sprang from her sleep.
