what do I do? That was the question I asked myself as I paced around my room thinking about how I had gotten pregnant. "what is going on with me!" I yelled and ruffled my hair. "how did this happen?" I asked myself. "how!" I rubbed my forehead as I felt it pounding. if I was pregnant then it means that Nicholas was responsible and now, I couldn't tell him because my secret would be revealed to the world and I'll have to risk my identity.

And on the other hand, Prince Alaric thought that the child belongs to him. I could see the excitement in his eyes when the doctor confirmed that I was pregnant. "why is destiny playing with me like this? " I groaned and hit my forehead. "why is this happening to me!" I screamed and kicked the bed frame. My toes broke in the process as he hit the bed but I didn't care about how I was feeling at that moment. my plan to break off the engagement with prince Alaric was about to be destroyed and I could be stuck as Angelica forever and prince Nicholas would never find the truth about his child.

That evening when the real Angelica called and I informed her about my pregnancy, she yelled at him. Although I didn't inform her about who the father was because she'll go crazy and probably order that I be killed, I didn't leave the part where prince Nicholas was sad and left angrily.

"Why are you so foolish?" she asked spitting out her anger through the phone. "I gave you one job to do and the first thing you did was reveal that I was pregnant when I wasn't and the second thing you did was get pregnant for whosever you decide to have s*x with her," she shouted and if I had not removed my phone from my ears, I could go deaf.

"listen to me," I tried to explain the reasons behind the pregnancy to her but she continued yelling and calling me names.

"you are a conceited b***h who only cares about herself!" she yelled and the phone vibrated. "if I had known that you'll ruin my chances with Prince Nicholas then I wouldn't have hired you the first time!" Her screaming increased and I prayed that no one hears us.

"shut up!" she yelled into her lungs and panted for a while. when she was done, she panted and didn't speak for a while. None of us said a word to each other and while I was thinking about what to do, I could hear Angelica muttering incoherent words. I didn't pay attention to her words as I thought about revealing my secret as an imposter. I decided to play the scene in my head to see how it will go.

"your highness, I am pregnant!" I announced to the king. "prince Nicholas is the father and I am not the real Angelica!"

If that was going to be my confession, then the Alpha king would probably sound this. "Guards! Arrest her and kill her."

I shuddered at the thought of that and ran a hand through my hair. I had to escape from the Royal mansion before anyone discovered my secret. That was the only option that I know of except if I was to continue acting like Angelica and that means, I'll use makeup all my life and my identity would be revealed. I didn't like the sound of that because I wanted to find my parents and acting like Angelica all of my life was going to ruin my idea of finding my parent. it was a bad idea and I was never going to do that.

"listen to me!" Angelica's annoying voice bought me out of my thoughts. I had completely forgotten that I was speaking to her. "until I figured a way out, you continue to act like me or you could get rid of your child and we could end the engagements. "

To Angelica, that sounded like a great idea but for me, there was no way I was going to kill my child just so I could break the engagement. "if you are done talking then goodbye," I ended the call and hissed for a few seconds. "Good riddance to bad rubbish. "

There was no way I was getting rid of my child and whatever happens, I was ready to take the blame for it.
