The kick

Nicholas POV In the case of Jade Wilson, I must have whispered her name at least ten times before finally saying it aloud. I noticed a few things as I read through the profile Raymond provided for me. I was so taken with her that I spent the entire night researching her. She was a lone wolf who spent her childhood in a home for abandoned pups, according to the information, because she lacked both parents and a biological family. She was forced to impersonate other people to make ends meet because she had no other source of income. Inside the envelope were photographs of the people whose identities she had assumed. As a result, I began to wonder why she was impersonating other people when she could have gotten a job that paid well. When I found out about her, I immediately remembered our time together, and a flood of memories came rushing back. I couldn't recognize her because she had chosen to conceal her identity by dressing up for the occasion. She was in my room after I rescued her from being punished by Alaric, who was out to get her for the stunt she pulled. Alaric had been under the impression that he was about to become a father, and learning of Jade's pregnancy enraged him. He would be able to eliminate Jade without a fight if he had his way, and he would relish the opportunity. That was his responsibility because he had the authority to do so. I asked her this question as she sat in front of me with her head bowed and avoiding eye contact. "Are you going to be alright here?" I inquired. "Look at me," I said, raising her chin, and she gasped when my hand touched her face. "Look at me," I said once more. "Hmmm," my wolf said when I touched him. He had been the one who had been persistent about meeting her since the incident in the courtyard, and when we were informed that Jade was attacking Angelica, my wolf had hurried out to find out what had happened between the two of them. He had no choice but to come to her aid and save her from Alaric's attack when he saw her face bleeding and Alaric on the verge of attacking her. "I....," she said as she rolled out of bed and knelt before me. "I am so sorry," she sobbed. "I lied to everyone, and I have to confess that I did not realize you were the prince until the following morning when I saw you again, and that is why I lied about it. I..." her voice was exceedingly trembling as she sobbed uncontrollably. "I understand you don't believe what I'm saying, but..." "Enough!" I shouted at her before she could continue talking; I was able to get her attention and grab her hand. "That's enough," I told her. She appeared pleased with my response. She bowed her head once more as a sign of her repentance. "Yes, your highness." I let out a long, contented sigh as I gently stroked her cheek with the palm of my hand. The scar had been removed, even though there were still blood trails on the tips of her nostrils. "How come you didn't fight back and let her lie against you?" I questioned her. "How come you allowed her to lie against you?" When she let out a long, heavy sigh, I took it as a sign to release her hands, and I did so right away. I asked her to take a standing position and gave her the command. In response, she showed her understanding by bowing her head and nodding her head. "I couldn't do it for no reason," she paused as she rose from where she had been lying on the ground. She did not attempt to sit, so I took her hand and dragged her down until she was seated next to me. She did not even try to sit down. "There's no reason!" I yelled at her. My wolf was also enraged by her behavior, so he understood why I was so enraged. According to her profile, she was not the type of person to give up so quickly, and she was tagged as talkative, so I wondered where all of her energy went and why she had chosen to be used so severely by Angelica. "Are you going to keep acting like this until the end of your life?" Jade turned to face me with a sad expression, but she quickly averted her gaze when we made eye contact. She admitted the truth by saying this. "no one is willing to believe me," Even though I knew she was telling the truth, I wouldn't say I liked how she acted as if the entire world was conspiring against her. I placed my hand on her shoulder and said, "Listen to me," I removed my hand before taking it. I bit my lower lip and looked at her stomach, saying, "although I don't know you that well, I don't regret our one-night stand because you gave me all the pleasures I had yearned for in a long time," I said. "As the mother of my child, I expect you to defend yourself whether or not I am present. You must stop allowing others to walk all over you like that! Even though she did not appear to believe a word I had said, she demonstrated that she was paying attention by nodding her head in response. "I understand," she retorted, fidgeting with her fingers. "I can assure you that I am fighting back, but unfortunately, I have no support and... " She came to a halt as the tears streaming down her cheeks continued to fall. "I had no idea I was walking right into a trap by doing what I was doing and….’’ "Were you there for the money? The general acceptance?" ' She's biting her bottom lip to try to keep her tears at bay, but I don't feel sorry for her since this whole thing could have been avoided if she had just come to see me and told me what was going on. If she had done that, I would likely have stopped what I was doing and started again. "I'm sorry," she sniffled before wiping her tears away and saying the words. "Please spare my baby's life; I don't want anything else from you," she begged. "I'm not looking for anything else from you." "She cares about our pup," Kyan mumbled in my ear, and I nodded in accord. When I glanced at her belly, I realized she already had a baby bump. She started to show indications of pregnancy. "My dear boy," Kyan remarked, laughing. The need to touch her stomach was overwhelming, and no matter how hard I tried to turn away, my hand continued to move forward despite my efforts to fight the instinct. I muttered something under my breath just as my hand was about to make contact with her stomach, then dropped it in an embarrassing display of failure. "You can," Jade murmured, bringing my palm to her stomach after noticing me. She giggled as she massaged it all over her stomach. "Because the baby is also your child, you are permitted to touch me," she added, grinning at me. "Of course," I responded, feeling a movement in her belly and placing my palm against it. I hastily took my hand from her stomach, but she swiftly replaced it. "Don't pass up this opportunity," she urged, smiling. I was very patient to see what would happen, and the baby began kicking against my hand after only a few seconds. During the conversation, he continuously kicked my hand, making it appear surreal. ‘’amazing!’’ I was astonished to hear myself say it out loud, but I also found myself chuckling. During all this action, the door to my room suddenly blasted open, and two security guards emerged at the doorway. When I realized they were my father's security guys, I came to a halt in froze, then I frowned at them. "The king summons you and the maid to the royal throne chamber," They announced I looked at Jade, who seemed perplexed, and we exchanged glances. "He wants to see you right now!" shouted the second security guard, who sounded impatient. What was about to happen, and how was I going to solve them?
