Jade's POV

"I am trying my best to stay away from him but it's not working!" I tried to explain to Angelica how Prince Nicholas has been hovering around me even after I engaged with prince Alaric. "He wouldn't stop coming after me and I can't keep up with this attitude of pretending that everything is..."

"Enough!" Angelica waved her hand over the car. "I need to make one thing clear and that is letting you know that Prince Nicholas is mind!" she said possessively. "stay away from him and if you aren't stupid enough, he wouldn't discover that you are a fake!"

"There is no way he'll discover that I am a fake!" I retorted and flipped my hair. "I am a master of Make-ups and no one can beat my perfect style of impersonation! He will never find out," I yawned and turned on the bed. The phone in my hand almost dropped but I held onto it. "That was close," I sighed. I expected Angelica who was watching me over the video call to say something nice to me but instead she laughed at me and called me names.

"you called yourself an impersonator and yet you are like this?" she laughed. "That is so pathetic!" he spats angrily. "if you keep up with this clumsy attitude then consider yourself dead because the Royal family will kill you!"

How dare she said that after everything that I did for her? I helped her to this point and instead of being grateful, she was acting like a spoilt princess who thought that she had everything in the world.

"Angelica" I muttered her name and she seemed shocked to hear that from me but I didn't care as I was too pissed off her by her crazy attitude.

"Angelica!" she shouted. "you used to address me as lady Angelica you rude girl!"

I burst into laughter and rubbed my forehead. "listen up you..." I suddenly felt nauseous and had the urge to throw up. I rubbed my stomach and closed my eyes hoping the feeling would disappear.

"what is going on?" Angelica asked.

I ignored her and placed my hand on my mouth to suppress the urge but it became much worse as I felt a bile in my throat. I jumped on my feet and headed into the bathroom. I held the toilet seat and threw the French toast I had in the morning.

why was I feeling this way? I placed my hand on my stomach and heaved a sigh. while thinking about that, I heard someone call my name from inside the room. The voice belonged to a male and it sounded familiar. Because I couldn't hear him very well from inside the bathroom, I had no idea who he was. "Angelica!" I heard him shout my name. "where are you?"

I rushed to sink after flushing the toilet and rinsed my mouth in the faucet. "I am in here!" I shouted.

He didn't hear me and continued yelling my name. I heaved a sigh and moved toward the entrance of the bathroom. when he saw me, he rushed towards me and grabbed my hand. "Are you alright?" he asked and placed his hand on my forehead but I slapped it away.

"Don't touch me please," I begged him even though I craved his touch. "I am engaged to your brother."

"my brother?" he scoffed. "He is probably messing around with some girl as we speak!"

"let's go of me!" I yanked my hand from his grip and moved forward but I lost my balance and almost fell to the ground. "I don't feel too well, "I felt the urge to throw up again and pushed Nicholas away. I ran into the bathroom and threw up into the sink. I rinsed my mouth and rubbed my forehead as I felt my head pounding. " what is happening to me?" I asked myself.

Nicholas was already by my side and when he grabbed my hand, I let him lead me toward the bed and we both sat down. "I don't feel too good," A lone tear escaped my eyes and I didn't realize it when I laid my head on his shoulder. "I... I am not supposed to feel this way," I said and burst into tears.

"Hey," Nicholas whispered. "why are you crying?" He asked and I had no answer to the question because I couldn't even explained why I was crying. I had no idea why I was crying and why I suddenly felt sick.

"I...." I hiccuped and jumped to my feet feeling the urge to throw up again. I rushed towards the toilet and as I was about to reach the Bathroom, I missed my step and fell to the ground blacking out instantly.

"what is happening to me?"
