"you slapped him!" Angelica shouted over the phone after announcing to her that I slapped Nicholas. "have you gone insane!" I could hear and feel the vibration in her tone even though she was far away. she was boiling with anger and if looks could kill then Angelica would probably bury me alive. "How dare you do that!"

I frowned at her and folded my arms. "speak!" she yelled at me

"you asked me not to get close to him and he has been over me ever since I arrived here. He knows you too much and he could find out that I am not you and that would result in a great disaster."

Angelica smiled brightly and I wondered why she looked so excited when she was frowning and was close to killing me a moment ago. "Nicholas still loves me," she chuckled, and then she scolded me. "Don't you dare try to hit a royal with your hands ever again!"

"I had to do what you asked me to do!" I retorted.

she slammed her hand on her table and pointed a finger at me. "you don't understand how grave your offense is do you?" she chuckled. "if you are caught attacking a royal, you could die."

I chuckled because I found her stupidity funny. if she knew about that then why the hell did she even ask me to stay away from him?

was she delusional? or maybe she is acting that way to get on my nerves. if she was doing that then, to be honest, she was already winning because I have started acting just like she instructed me to.

"what the hell do you want me to do after I did all you asked me too huh?" I asked sounding so low that my voice won't be outside the room. "you asked me to stay away from him and I did the only thing that I could up with at that moment.

"That would make him hate me more!" she yelled at me. "if you keep acting that way then he might suspect you because I have never been so cold to him like that!"

"Are you insane!" I yelled back at her. "you must be going crazy!" I said and ruffled my hair. "you told me to stay away from him and now, you are getting annoyed because I slapped his face. what the hell do you want?"

"not to give me a bad name!" she stated and I had to remove the phone from my ears because her voice was incredibly loud and it seems that my ears would bleed just by hearing her. "Prince Nicholas is the one that I wanted and everything that happened is all your fault!" she accused.

There she goes again playing the victim card and acting as if everything that I did was of my own Accord. "why are you saying this? I did what you asked me to do by impersonating you so what else I'm I doing?"

Angelica laughed. "you must be insane!" she said and screamed again. "Everything that is happening Is none of my business because it is your fault!" she said. "Don't act as if I forced you to impersonate you!"

"Technically you did," I muttered.

Angelica laughed again. Her laughter was getting on my nerves and seeing how she is acting was enough to hit her in the face but she was lucky that she was not in front of me instead we were speaking on the phone.

if she were to be in front of me then I would have slapped her pretty hard on the face until she has no words to say again. "why the hell are you laughing?" I asked after a moment of keeping up with her stupidity.

"This is the problem with poor people like you," she tutted. "you all act like this when you are given a tiny bit of power," she chuckled. "Don't you dare forget that you are just a girl I picked from the gutter!" she said.

"what are you trying to say?" my voice broke as I felt like I was being cheated by what she had said.

"Don't act as if what I said is wrong," she furthermore accused me with her annoying mouth.

"If you have nothing else to say then I should probably end this car," I told her tired of listening to her speak to me in such a manner. I know that I was a poor little orphan girl who needed money to survive and coming to the Royal Arie was all because of it but I hated that Angelica had to make me feel like I was a worthless wolf. it was annoying and at the same time, it made my blood boil as I was angry that I couldn't turn down her offer when she listed it in front of me.

"How dare you!"

"stop yelling at me!"

"I am the boss of you and so you will learn how to listen to my orders! I am the one who made you enter the Royal mansion which you wouldn't have entered in your wildest dream so you should be thankful to me!"

I laughed and heaved a deep sigh. "if you don't want me to hit the prince again then I shall seduce him badly that he wouldn't be able to reject my face and I would make sure that I get him on my bed," I said and ended the call before she could reply. I fell on my bed and closed my eyes ignoring her calls.

I did that intentionally to make her feel insecure. even though I like Prince Nicholas and was attracted to him, I knew that we would never be together no matter how hard I try. He was in love with Angelica and not me. He was attracted to the face of his former lover and not me.

Trying so hard would be an epic failure and being pregnant with his child was a great mistake.
