I look great.

Nicholas POV It was tonight. The royal ball that my mother had made Raymond, myself, and Angelica plan. after spending a few days trying to set up a great party, we finally did it and I couldn't be happier because I was able to perform the role perfectly. when my brother Alaric made an appearance at the royal hall, he was suddenly circled by great nobles that had arrived for the royal ball. Raymond picked the royal purple color for the females while Angelica proposed that the males wear a white dress for the ball. I was dressed in a white tuxedo specially designed by the royal tailor who made my outfit seem as if I was a model. The tuxedo fits perfectly to my arms and broad chest. I couldn't wait to see angelica in her beautiful dress and also see her impression of me when she sees me in the tuxedo. I had no idea why I was feeling agitated but I was glad that I get to see angelica in her beautiful dress. ''I believe all brothers are seating here right?" Alaric's annoying voice broke me out of my thought as he walked towards the table reserved for us. "you look amazing tonight my dear brother," he commented on my look and I ignored pretending as if he wasn't there. I hated the fact that he was acting cool as if nothing had happened between us in the past few days. I didn't like how he was pretending that everything was fine between us when we both sees ourselves as rivals. "I am not going to be subjected to this disrespect Nicholas," Alaric tapped his fingers on the table yet again and I ignored him as if he wasn't there. "Nicholas!" he slammed his hand on the table. "what the hell is wrong with you?" he shouted at me. I chuckled and pointed to the cameramen in the room. He had his eyes fixed on us as if he was waiting for us to attack each other. He was looking for a great headline and causing a scene would give him what he wanted. A scandal. I couldn't imagine being in the same room with them if not for Raymond who suggested that the top reporters and TV stations be around us for the whole world to know about us, I wouldn't have allowed any media around us because it could give us bad names especially if a fight was to break out. "you wouldn't want us to be the headline tomorrow or would you?" I asked him. Alaric sneered at me before taking his seat and crossing his legs. "Good riddance!" he spat angrily showing how frustrated he was. Even the veins in his neck were visible and seemed as if they were about to pop out. Raymond was the next to arrive and when I saw him, I face-palmed myself wondering if our mother had him differently because he never listen to corrections or do things that a werewolf prince should do. His style was different from mine and unlike me who was dressed in a tuxedo, Raymond was dressed in ripped white pants and a blazer jacket that his initials on the back. Raymond waved at a few people and rushed toward my table when he saw me and Alaric seated opposite one another. "Hey, brother!" Raymond shouted at me as he waved his hands. I ignored him and instead folded my arms. "show off," I muttered but it was loud enough for him to hear. "What a party without a show-off," he sat beside me and pointed to a girl who had made her way into the room. it was until I stared closely that I realized that it was Angelica. "I can see you still got that look," he chuckled and sat down. "what look?" I asked him. "The look of I still care for Angelica," Raymond's voice sounded so loud that it drew Alaric's attention. He frowned at me and I cleared my throat looking away from him. "shut the hell up," I said. I made sure that I avoided Alaric's eyes because I knew that he was throwing glares at me and probably thinking of ways to end my life.
