Her Search For Experience

937 Words
Hours had passed, it was already 8 pm. Damon was already done with his business meeting and he also attended to everything that needed his attention. He was packing his PC into his briefcase and was getting ready to leave when he heard a knock. He took his gaze towards the door, wondering who it was that had the guts to knock on his door without the receptionist informing before now. He didn't say a word and in the next moment, he watched the door pushed open and then, he saw Alice walk in. She greeted and walked towards the seat opposite his desk and sat there. Damon gazed up at her for some minutes but didn't say a word to her when suddenly, she broke the silence. "Sir, I need to know why you rejected me," Alice said, her eyes locked onto him. Damon sighed, knowing that this conversation was inevitable. "Alice, like I said before, I don't do virgins or inexperienced girls. It's just not my thing." "But why? What's wrong with being a virgin or inexperienced?" Alice asked. Damon hesitated before answering. "It's just not what I'm interested in. You need someone who is willing to teach you, and I'm not that person, Alice." "So, if I were to gain experience, would you accept me as your contracted girlfriend again?" She asked, considering the fact that she needs that money. If getting experience would make her get back the job position of being his contracted girlfriend, she wouldn't mind going extra miles to get experienced. Damon was taken aback by her question, unsure how to respond. All he did was keep quiet and continued to pack his PC into his briefcase, ignoring all her questions. "Go home. I'm done for the day." He Instructed. That was the moment Anderson came in. He carried Damon's briefcase as they both walked out of the office while Alice walked behind them. Alice was still bothered about the rejection so an idea popped into her head. Maybe she could be experienced if she goes to a nightclub and does things she hadn't done before. After thinking about it, she concluded that she should go there. About leaving, she walked out of the gate of the company building, walking in the direction where she could see a taxi to take her to her destination and the moment she found it, she entered and told the driver to take her to a nearby nightclub. Alice sat in the front seat beside the driver as she glanced at her reflection in the rearview mirror and could see her face with the help of the road lights. The thought of entering the club filled her with a sense of fear and excitement. She took a deep breath and stepped out of the car the moment the car stopped her in front of a building. As she approached the entrance, she could feel her heart racing in her chest. The bouncer at the door looked her up and down before nodding her through. Inside, the club was a blur of flashing lights, thumping music, and swaying bodies. Alice felt overwhelmed by the noise and the crush of people. She tried to make her way to the bar, but the crowd was too thick. She squeezed through a gap between two dancers, feeling their sweat on her skin. At last, she made it to the bar and ordered a drink, trying to steady her nerves. Her gaze scanned around, looking for an empty seat and table where she could sit and luckily, she found. She took her drink and walked towards there to sit. As she sat, she sipped the sweet, fruity concoction. The music was loud and pulsing, the air thick with the scent of alcohol and sweat. Couples danced together, their bodies pressed close, and groups of friends laughed and chatted over their drinks. Alice felt a pang of envy as she watched them. She had always been a bit of a wallflower, content to stay on the sidelines and watch others have fun. But now she was determined to break out of her shell and experience everything the world had to offer. She finished her drink and ordered another, feeling a bit more relaxed now. She saw a group of people dancing near the DJ booth and decided to join them. She pushed her way through the crowd, feeling a surge of adrenaline as she moved towards the center of the dance floor. As she began to move her body to the beat, she felt a wave of self-consciousness wash over her. She was aware of her unexperience, her lack of confidence, and her awkwardness on the dance floor. But she pushed those thoughts aside and kept moving, her body swaying to the rhythm of the music. As the night wore on, Alice felt herself growing more and more comfortable in her surroundings. She danced with new friends, flirted with cute guys, and even got a few phone numbers. She felt alive and invigorated, as if she had been reborn into a new, more exciting version of herself. As the club began to wind down, Alice made her way to the exit, her heart full of joy and her mind buzzing with possibilities. She knew that this was just the beginning of her journey, that there was so much more to explore and experience in the world. As she stepped out into the cool night air, she looked up at the stars and smiled. While going back home, she decided that she would return again to that nightclub the next day.
