Alice was already home, she sighed as she walked up the local steps to her apartment building. She couldn't wait to kick off her shoes and lay down on the couch for a bit of relaxation.
She was about pushing the door so she could walk in when she saw Emily standing at the back corner of the building, with her little baby sister in her hands and she was on a video call.
"Hey, Alice!" Emily exclaimed as she embraced her. "I'm talking to my boyfriend." Emily motioned at her phone, which had an image of her boyfriend David popping up on the screen but Alice didn't pay attention to look at Emily's phone screen to see Emily's boyfriend's face.
