The long awaited day 2

Linda's pov

Finally it wast the day,the day we'll meet our sponsor and every student is praying for the best.we pray that Mr.Deuts will agree to sponsor and help develop our school.On arriving to school i found that everyone was busy.So i also made myself busy.As the library prefect i went to the library to do some pending work together with my assistant prefect.I never noticed we had so much to do but on arriving i found out that the place was very disorganised.so we immediately got to work.After one and a half hour.we still had so much but we had to dinish everything today.Then we heard the bell and we knew our guest must have arrived and the bell indicates that we are needed in auditorium.So we had to wrap up and head there.it took us some more time but we finished atleast today's part.So we headed for the auditorium although we were alittle late.I was so eager to meet this man.who like to do charity and who had decided to help our school.So we were excitedly talking as we headed there.we found seats at the back since we were the last one's to arrive.After i had settled i looked ahead and saw the man.The man who was our saviour and it was the man i met sometime back.the man that i helped and i never thought I'd see again.i even thought that he had left our town but there he was glaring straight at me.He was like he was lost in his own thoughts.It wad a shocker to me.i never thought he was the one every girl was drooling over.it never occurred to me that he would be a celebrity.He was so lost in his own world that he didn't even hear the principle calling him to give his speech.I wondered if he was still sick

The principle called him again and that's when he stood up and gave his speech.it was a short speech but had meaningful words.i loved his words and i hoped everyone will do whatever he advice and wont sulk in our poverty.After his speech we left as the teachers were to have a meeting with him so they left for the staffroom while we went to our respective classes.Everyone was talking of how handsome he was and how they would love to spend even a day with him.They were so happy and girls were day dreaming about him while i just sat there wondering how he is the same guy and why he didn't have bodyguards since almost every celebrity have bodyguards following him.I found myself so stupid not knowing that he's a celebrity.while i was still thinking about everything we were told that there was an emergency prefects meeting with Mr.Deuts.So me with three others from our class headed for the meeting.After settling down they arrived and the guest said we should introduce ourselves with the post we hold.so after the introduction he told us that he'll help in whatever is needed.Thats when he said he would love to start with the library.was abit startled but also happy that the library will be improved.He asked for us to cooperate with him and always be there and ready when needed.After his short speech we were dismissed but then he called me back saying we needed to talk.I was abit hesitant at first but the principle nodded at me reassuring me its ok.So i remained behind with him.I though he'd ask me about the library but then he asked why i never came to see him.told him i knew he was in safe hands with his assistant.Then he said he missed me.that was a shocker.how could he miss me?it was only 3days and i was just helping him with his injury so where did this miss you thing come from i wondered.I rhen left for class but the it didn't take long the bell rang alerting us its time to go home.

While me,Lydia my best friend and my sister Faridah were on our way we saw his car stopping and he offered us a lift since we were going the same direction.After asking the others and they agreed we hoped in and left.my sister sat in the front sit while me and Lydia sat in the back with Salm.I accidentally hit him while i was sitting and i saw his eyes go red.i thought i had offended him so i sat there silently hoping he isn't so mad to tell us to get out of his car.i made sure not to let myself touch any part of his body even by accident.The ride was silent and when we arrived at his place and were about to come down he told us to tell him our address so he would drop us.Thinking about my dad i was about to refuse but my stupid sister and friend already yelled yes and gave him our address.He told his assistant to drop us then they'll come back afterwards.He dropped Lydia then dropped us.We came out of the car and i prayed so hard that my old man wont be able to see us while we said our thank you and headed to the house.Luckly my dad was not yet back so we got lucky.It was a tiresome day after freshening up he had our dinner did some homework and went to bed.Thinking about the days event i fell asleep.
