Chapter Eleven Robert searched out Hunter, finding him at the dock, tying the boat down against the strong gale blowing their way. “Do you know where she is?” he shouted to him over the roar of the wind. “Gabrielle?” “Yes, Gabrielle.” “Maybe she took the dinghy up the island.” He pointed north. “You saw her go?” A fierce blast dislodged his hair from the ponytail, flinging it about his face. He squinted because it was so difficult to see. “No, I didn’t see her go, but the boat’s gone. What else?” “You didn’t go after her?” “I didn’t know she was missing. It’s a bloomin’ idiotic thing for her to do.
