Qamar Yunosov called around to inform the Lovell-Wynthrops that he was going to London for a couple of days. He asked Loretta whether there was anything she needed from the capital, maybe for her exquisite cuisine? Privately, he whispered to Percival that he would meet his Russian contact and in a louder voice stated that his schedule included a sound check at the Royal Festival Hall. He planned to return home for a day to relax thoroughly before the big occasion. Loretta accepted his offer, asking him to call in at Spice Mountain in Borough Market and gave him a list of items difficult to obtain in Aldershot. She was most specific about the cinnamon.
