Elijah's revelation caused my mind to spin as I gazed at him. The way he spoke to me,I have not spoken that same way for a long time."What do you mean my parents were not as they appeared?" Because I don't understand," I inquired quietly.
Elijah's demeanour became grave. "Rosemond, your parents belonged to a secret organisation" One who safeguarded the most confidential information of the Lunar Covenant(Lunar Covenant is a world of werewolf packs).
The world around me shifted. What hidden information could my parents have been concealing?
"I encouraged him to continue, intrigued by my growing curiosity."
Before he spoke, Elijah paused then continued .Let me tell you about the The Lunar Guardians . They were a highly skilled team dedicated to protecting the Covenant from both internal and external dangers. "Your parents played crucial roles, they were key members of this skilled team”
Lunar Guardian ? The name caused chills to run down my back.
"What happened to them?" I inquired, my heart beating rapidly.
Elijah's eyes became hazy. "They were deceived and murdered. The Covenant concealed it, removing all traces of their presence from history.
I immediately felt as if my stomach had been punched by someone. Could it be that my parents were killed? But that was already the truth and it was so unbearable.I felt so bad

"Are those Thane's followers?" I inquired, my heart beating rapidly.
Elijah gave a nod of agreement. "Prepare yourself, Rosemond. We must depart. "At this moment."
Without any delay, Elijah seized my hand and we dashed out of the cabin, heading into the darkness.
As we continued running, the forest appeared to be narrowing in on us. I tripped, but Elijah caught me.He didn't left me behind.
"Continue forward," he encouraged. "It is crucial for our existence."
We crashed out of the forest edge, and a shiny black car screeched to a stop in front of us.
Elijah forcefully pulled the door open. "Hop in!"
I entered quickly, with Elijah right behind me.
While the vehicle raced off, I turned around quickly to observe Thane's henchmen approaching.
However, that was not the sole surprise.
In the mirror behind me, I noticed Elijah's eyes shining with a supernatural light.
My heart skipped a beat.
"What's happening Elijah"I asked,my voice in a whisper.
What I saw amazed me.
His eyes met mine and for an instant,I saw something inhuman lurking beneath
"Who are you, Elijah", I asked again
The car hurtled forward,into the unknown.
I looked into Elijah's eyes again seeking comfort, but he was focused on the path in front of us.
"Do you expect me to trust you?" I said again, my words tinged with doubt.Should I?.
Elijah's teeth clenched together. "I will not allow anyone to hurt you, Rosemond.I promise you”
However, could I really rely on him?
After Thane rejected me,I had this mindset and feeling that I cannot be genuinely loved,so Elijah saying he will not hurt me and all that was sounding somehow in my ears.
Elijah had secrets hidden, and I sought answers.
"Who do the Lunar Guardians consist of?" I inquired.
Elijah briefly glanced at me before focusing back on the road. A secret organisation dedicated to safeguarding the Lunar Covenant".
