Aurora's POV I follow him up to his office, and the whole way there I try to make myself presentable, smoothing my sweatpants flat with both palms, dragging my fingers through the tangled ends of my hair, giving up twice and starting again. He walks half a step ahead of me, and I can't help but notice the width of his shoulders, the way his waist narrows sharp beneath them, muscle shifting under the fabric of his shirt with every stride like the clothes are only a suggestion laid over something far more solid.
