Sara’s POV After silencing my phone, I sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the blank wall ahead of me. The silence of the hotel room was deafening. The weight of what I had just done—cutting Zack out, even temporarily—settled heavily in my chest. He had always been there, my anchor through the worst of it.
