Hell rushed away, the darkness lifting as the world zoomed past. They flew straight and true along an invisible road that cut through the skies of the realm in-between. Zavi’s gaze stayed glued to the horizon, which roiled with storm clouds the color of a bruise. Lightning flashed through them, illuminating horrific scenes of violence in the briefest flashes.
