The League of Sorcerers for Free Magic was, according to the Division, a reckless group of dissenters and terrorists with dangerous ideas about the deregulation of magic. They’d existed in one form or another since before the Mayflower arrived, with branches all around the world wherever magic faced strict regulation.
Every arm of the organization had its own ideals and methods for protesting, of course. During the Revolutionary War, the League in America had split off from the British League, having their own magical mini war that had ended in a detente.
