It was Saturday night, and Cicera, Maya's mother, came home exhausted. To her surprise, dinner was ready. Usually, Maya just reheated the food, but this time she had actually cooked. Maya didn't know how to cook well because she hadn't been taught. Cicera just looked at the set table. "Did you make the food, Yuni? I've already told you I don't want you in the kitchen." Yuni replied, "Mom, I'm over fifteen, I'm dating, and you won't let me cook. It's not like I'm being taken advantage of, but I did it with Anésio's help. He helped me organize the kitchen and then left." Cicera frowned, "I don't want him in my house." "I know, that's why he's already gone," insisted Yuni, trying to stay calm. "I just hope, Yuni, that you're not taking advantage of these moments to go into the bedroom."
