Like a deer in the headlights, I stared at Kane Price.
This cannot be happening!
It had to be a dream. Or more precisely, a nightmare.
I had never, ever wanted to see this man again. Not after what I’d gone through because of him.
Not that it was his fault, really. I’d been the one who’d told him there wasn’t any need for him to use a c****m, even though I hadn’t been on any type of birth control. I’d never faulted Kane, or myself, for that matter, for what had happened to that baby boy we’d made.
Seeing him again, with his muscular body that showed just how much he’d grown up, sent chills through my veins. I knew that body rippled with every little movement he made.
Kane Price is standing perfectly still, staring into my eyes, and I can’t move or even blink.
