Debbie's POV
The few minutes after he left was torture for me.
I couldn't stop thinking him and I couldn't stop my mind from replaying how intensely he stared at me by the doorway clad in his blue business suit with a slightly confused look on his perfect face.
The delicious smell of the male cologne he was putting on and the warmth I felt when my small hands fit perfectly into his warm and strong hands.
And his eyes!
Time passed by in a blur and how I could still carry on concentrating on the makeup I was applying on Sharon's face was a wonder to me.
She also kept teasing me the whole time about how deeply infatuated I seemed with her brother and the way we stared at each other like we were seconds away from devouring each other.
To say I was embarrassed was an understatement.
The thoughts of him kept reappearing sending tingles to all over my body down to my now aching v****a.
Oh boy!
Few minutes later, i was done with her makeup and when she saw the outcome of it while staring at the standing mirror, she stopped with her teasing and stood stock-still.
For which I was feeling nervous but exceedingly grateful for.
'Please tell me you like it?' I asked worriedly when she stood unmoving, her facial expression blank and she stared quietly at her reflection in the mirror.
Dreading what her reaction was going to be, I wringed my fingers together and nibbled gently on my lower lip.
If she didn't like the outcome of it, i just couldn't imagine the amount of embarrassment that would cause me.
I was about to ask again when an excited and a bit of shocked expression replaced the former look on her face.
Sighing, instant relief washed over me.
'Oh my God Debbie!' She gasped and covered up her mouth with her two hands. 'Oh my goodness this looks so beautiful!' She exclaimed joyously, gazing at her face in the standing mirror with admiration.
Squealing quietly, I did a little fist bump behind her back.
Amidst all the distractions from him, and my mind occupied with thoughts of him after he left, it still turned out to be amazing.
'Oh my days Debbie--' She slowly turned around to face me with a big smile on her face and I smiled back cheekily.
The feeling I had right now was so overwhelming that It took every ounce of restraint I had not to fall on my knees and praise God.
Play cool Debbie!
If it didn't turn out great, it'd be a big embarrassment not from only her but her brother.
'i want to ask you a question now,' She stated calmly and I urged her on.
'Are you very sure that the person I'm staring at in this mirror is me? Because this person I'm looking at is dazzling! damn!' She proclaimed.
Giggling and shaking my head amusingly, I sauntered closer to where she was standing and shifted her shoulders gently to face the mirror.
Gently pulling her braided hair back to reveal her long slender neck, I replied sweetly.
'It definitely is you sweet cakes and trust me when I say this to you, your boyfriend is going to be practically kissing your feet at that party.'
Sharon squealed excitedly, her excitement growing by the minute as it showed clearly on her face.
Immediately, like she suddenly remembered something, she placed her index finger right in front of her lip, shushing me and pointed at the direction of the stairs.
'Remember my brother is upstairs. His ears are not only big, he hears well with them too and you know he won't let me leave this house if he knows I have a boyfriend and I'm going to meet him there.'
She slightly whispered and then winked.
I bit my lip and immediately felt my cheeks warm up.
I just couldn't pretend to not be deeply attracted to him, could I?
I exhaled softly and nodded slowly, then cracked a small smile.
She squinted her eyebrows playfully and narrowed her eyes.
'I know that look already Debbie and like I keep saying, you gushing over my brother is pretty confusing because to me he looks pretty normal.' She shrugged, her lips twitching as she tried to hold back her smile.
'You keep saying that and I'll keep telling you he's not only hot but extremely handsome.' I countered, then bit my lip from saying more.
Sharon scoffed playfully and straightened her posture, brushing invisible wrinkles off her cloth.
Glancing at her reflection in the mirror, she was putting on a fitted blue high waisted jeans with a white strappy crop top. The neckline was plunging, revealing the curves of her full breasts and her bare creaky shoulders.
She chose it amongst other outfits and put it on when I was done with her makeup.
'Okay! Okay, enough of my brother. I need you to fill my ears with how beautiful I look because I need all that confidence building up inside of me to be able to show off in that party.' She uttered almost hesitantly.
Breathing in deeply. I cleared my throat and when I replied, I realized the tone of my voice had lowered down a notch.
She looked so beautiful that it hurt. Only if I could be like her.
'Look, I think you look drop dead gorgeous and I've never seen anyone as beautiful and sophisticated as you.'
She gasped softly and stared at me with wide eyes.
She looked almost unbelievably before she asked.
'Wait, really? Are you serious? Or you're just saying this to make me feel good.'
I chuckled. 'I am very serious. You look really beautiful. And that outfit is everything. You're going to leave so many boys speechless at the party.'
'I don't care about the other guys. My boyfriend that I haven't seen in over three months sounds more appealing. But I don't mind rendering the others speechless too.' She said with a wink and we both laughed.
Her face then turned into a more serious expression as she asked.
'And I saw that dejected look on your face earlier. Don't for once think you are not beautiful.' Placing her two hands on my shoulders, she gently said. 'You are also very beautiful and your skin is everything. Well, judging from the way my brother was staring at me, you yourself should know better.'
My ears perked up at the mention of her brother and a surge of electricity rushed down my spine.
'H--He was only curious about who I was, that's all and that's why he kept staring.' I shyly replied, directing my gaze to the floor as I found it now tasking to look into her teasing gaze.
'Girl! He is not always like that. He doesn't even really notice anyone talk less of forming conversations and holding the hands of people he just met, trust me. You're very beautiful and he also noticed that.' She uttered assuredly.
I looked into her eyes and I was expecting to humour in them but the seriousness I saw straing back at me caused me to be suddenly nervous.
He found me to be beautiful? And that's why he was staring?
It was so overwhelming to wrap my head around so I just nodded and smiled.
'Okay thanks. I um--' Chuckling nervously, 'I don't know what to say right now.'
'Okay why don't we talk about your payment.' She concluded and I nodded.
'Fine, let me go upstairs and collect it from my brother since he said he's going to pay. I'd get back to you in a bit.' She winked and then jogged up the stairs to wherever her brother was.
I waited patiently for her to be out of sight and then exhaled deeply.
Placing my hands on my chest, the thought of what Sharon said sent my heart fluttering.
Timini Peters found me beautiful. What more could I ask for? But why did I seem nervous and little bit scared.
And will I see him one more time before I leave?
