Serenya's POV Sunlight slips through the blinds when I open my eyes. My head feels heavy, like I didn’t sleep at all. That's because you actually didn't, dumdum. The laptop is still open on my desk, the screen gone black. I can still see the last images burned into my mind: Celestine smiling in that perfect, practiced way. Kaelen beside her.
